Re: SGO a couple of questions

Hi Worried Nan,

IN my limited understanding it is as follows:
Yes no longer LAC
No you share PR w/ BP's 51:49 in your favour
Don't know the last one!

Re: LA Funding

TBH IED, I am totally p***ed off. this is another continuatuion of the same crap I've been dealing with for the last year. No, they aren't going to stay apart, its utter nonsense. They (LA) rang back and said that I couldn't work FT, only part time. So when do I earn the money to pay for the involve...

Re: Assessment

Well thats all changed. Now looking @ ICO. FFS

Suzie,
Until 17.00hrs yesterday we were looking @ a SGO.
The BP's suggested an ICO for 12 months while they got their act together (highly unlikely)
Now LA SW trying to organise the details. Its bloody ridiculous. :x

Re: LA Funding

LA Funding

Evening All, Spoke to the LA today. They will pay my legal costs associated with the order (SGO) but not for representation. Given they are supporting me, should I pay the bill for legal rep? Secondly they will also pay fostering costs for the first 2 years. Lovely. Thanks very much. Now we could st...

Re: Assessment

HI Folks, Questions questions here: Timetable has been altered somewhat.... Further CM Hearing scheduled for 25th Feb, IRH for 20th March and Final Orders for 1st April (no joke). SW thinks it may go a bit further than that due to the way the Reports have come in  She has advised me not to bo...

Re: SGO - do I need a solicitor?

Hi Folks,

So am I correct in thinking that the LA can pay until the child is 18?
The reason I ask is that I will be a pensioner by the time DGD is 15 YO.
Its going to be challenging enough to afford the nursery fees....

Re: Assessment

Went to Panel yesterday: recommended as foster carer.
BF completely discounted by both LA & DGD's Guardian.
BM still being assessed, still has to make big choices HOWEVER DGD is safe so far :D
