Kent Family Group Conference Service gets deserved recognition for it's successful accreditation.

See the attached press release from Kent council concerning the recognition it has received for its success in being accredited.

Peter Oakford, KCC Cabinet Member for Specialist Children's Services, said: "Social services are often criticised for taking children into care but many don't realise the hard work that goes into keeping families together. The FGC service is crucial to our work in children's services as it makes sure that the child's voice is heard and the family's views are central to finding the best future for the young person.
"I'm delighted that the effective work by our FGC staff has been recognised by the Family Rights Group."
