This page contains information about events, publications and research involving members of the European FGC Network, as well as links to European organisations promoting FGCs. The 6th annual European FGC Network Event will be held at the Premier Inn, George Square, Glasgow from the 20th-22nd November. Up to 5 representatives from England can attend. If you are interested please contact Deanna Edwards, Policy Adviser at Family Rights Group by emailing d.edwards@frg.org.uk.
The delegate fee is £75, this includes lunch on Friday and Saturday (but no other meals).
Accommodation is available at the Premier Inn for £65 per room per night (double, twin or single). Plus £7.50 for full buffet breaksfast. The hotel is a short walk from Glasgow Queen Street train station.
Konferencja Grupy Rodzinnej is a new polish organisation which is supporting the development of family group conferences within Poland. Polish speakers can find out more by going to their website: www.kgr.org.pl
On the 9th -10th October there will be the second German FGC Network meeting in Berlin. Practitioners from German projects will come together for a professional exchange. We are very pleased about the participation of Svetlana Chobanu (Murmansk) and Lineke Joanknecht (Amsterdam), both are international FGC trainer.

In 2007 Eigen Kracht, a non-governmental social service agency in Amsterdam, Netherlands, conducted its 1000th family group conference (known as family group decision making in the US). By September 2007 that number had reached 1200.
